Greetings from "Dmytruk Luchesk Half Marathon 2021": how the WEST AUTO HUB team ran

It all starts with an idea and a great desire. This is what we are guided by when we get up in the morning for a run, although a warm bed attracts unspeakable force. The desire to prove to yourself that you can.

Running a half marathon is a real test. Regular training, self-belief and support are important here: family, friends, colleagues.

And then comes the "X" day - Sunday, September 12, when even people from other cities came to Lutsk to run "Dmytruk Luchesk Half Marathon" at different distances of 5, 10 and 21 kilometers . The large-scale race is organized for the sixth year in a row by Dmytruk together with the Luchesk sports club.

The route of the half marathon passed through the center: Volia Ave. Shevchenko - street Zapovitna - street Bohdan Khmelnytsky - street Senator Levchanivska - street Glushets - street Bratkovsky - street Plytnytsia - street Zamkova - Glushets Street - Central Park - Glushets Street Glushets - Freedom Avenue.

More than a hundred participants with their support groups gathered near the main building of the Lesia Ukrainka University. Many teams from different companies decided to run the half marathon. Among them are employees of the WEST AUTO HUB head office: Oksana Brechko, Volodymyr Luhinin and Anton Bondaruk.  

All participants had a sticker with a personal number, which had a chip. Thus, personal results were recorded.

A toddler also joined the race: children under 6 could choose the 100-meter distance, 7-8 years - 500 meters, 9-13 years - 1000 meters. For children who did not take part in the race, arranged an entertainment program: workshops and games.

Upon completion, each participant received a medal and gifts from the partners of the half marathon.
