Techoglyad 2023: what has changed since August 25?
From August 25, 2023, a new inspection procedure came into effect. Let's figure out what exactly has changed and for what purpose it was done.
First of all, the changes are aimed at increasing the level of road safety and reducing emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
What has changed since August 25?
- Video recording of the process
Each stage of the inspection will be recorded on video. Video recordings of technical inspection will be stored in the database for 3 years. Links to files with video recording will be uploaded to the national database after the technical inspection of the car.
The process of video recording will take effect six months after the end of martial law.
- Entering the electronic protocol
The inspection protocol will be drawn up in electronic form and stored in the Unified State Register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the request of the customer, the protocol can be prepared and issued on a paper form
- Simplified registration of converted cars
In order to submit applications for approval of the conversion of vehicles of motor carriers, it is no longer necessary to submit a copy of documents (certificate of registration and a copy of the act of conducting mandatory technical control)
What has changed for drivers?
In fact, the process visually remains unchanged for the driver. In practice, the inspection procedure has become more transparent and accurate thanks to the introduction of an electronic protocol and video recording.
